St. Catherine’s Community Centre is delighted to announce, that as part of the (ESF) Programme for Employability, Inclusion and Learning Programme (PEIL) 2014- 2020, they are delivering an exciting new programme for women in Carlow interested in entering or re-entering the labour market.
A group of nine women from St. Catherine’s Traveller’s Programmes participated in The Advocacy Programme with Carlow College in 2017. They received their certificates at the International Women’s Day event in Carlow College on March 8th. This program was supported by County Carlow Development Partnership. Read more →
On Wednesday March 1st Enda Kenny made an announcement to the Dail, giving state recognition of Traveller ethnicity. The Traveller movement have been seeking this for the past 50 years and greatly welcome this overdue recognition. Ethnic status creates a space for Travellers to be respected and valued as a unique community and culture within the diverse society in which we live in Ireland. Read more →

Microsoft Excel for beginners course is starting on Friday the 18th of November 2:30pm – 4:30pm in St. Catherine’s Community Services Centre. it will cost €60 for 6 weeks. There is a reduced cost of €30 Read more →
